The Hydra PFAS Reduction System is the first resin-based system of its kind in the residential water treatment market. Understanding PFAS and Their Health Impacts
PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) are a series of man-made chemical compounds that persist in the environment for long periods of time, often called “forever chemicals.” For decades, PFAS chemicals have been used in industry and consumer products such as nonstick cookware, waterproof clothing, and stain-resistant furniture.
Health Concerns

Federal Regulations

The Trump administration has rolled back or delayed some regulations, shifting the burden of regulation to the states. However, other federal regulations remain in place — most notably the EPA’s national drinking water standards for PFOA and PFOS and reasserted the CERCLA designation as hazardous substances.
