Urban Expands King of Prussia Presence with New Location, Larger Office
by .
King of Prussia, PA – Urban Engineers (Urban), a nationally recognized engineering and construction services firm, is proud to announce the expansion of its King of Prussia office to a larger space within the region’s thriving business corridor. The new, expanded office reflects the firm’s continued success and growth throughout the region.
Strategically positioned to access U.S. 422, I-76, and the Pennsylvania Turnpike, the space strengthens Urban’s ability to serve clients across the Greater Philadelphia region. The new location also supports the firm’s growing team of professionals focused on delivering innovative solutions in transportation and infrastructure.
“This expansion is a direct response to the region’s growing infrastructure needs and bolsters our ability to provide direct and personal services to our clients,” said Urban’s CEO, Pat McCormick. “Opening a larger office in King of Prussia allows us to scale with demand, deepen our local partnerships, and continue delivering the high-quality work Urban is known for. The new location offers added convenience for our team and less time on the road, which means more direct focus on our clients.”
Headquartered in the City of Philadelphia for nearly 65 years, Urban’s heart has always been rooted in the region. This expansion into a larger King of Prussia office reflects strategic growth and our ongoing commitment to maintaining responsive client relationships and personal service. As Urban grows, the firm remains dedicated to the Greater Philadelphia community.
The expansion follows a period of significant achievement for the firm. Urban was recently honored with the 2025 Project of the Year and Overall Project of the Year awards by the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) Mid-Atlantic Chapter for its work on the U.S. 1 Improvements, Section RC2 in Bucks County, a more than $100 million mega project completed one year ahead of schedule with zero safety incidents.
Additional notable projects include the complex U.S. 422 River Crossing Project in Valley Forge. Urban provided program management and site/civil services, enhancing six-lane traffic flow and multimodal travel across a critical corridor. The firm also provided construction management services for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), District 6-0, 43,000-SF, two-story Regional Transportation Management Center (RTMC). These are a few successes demonstrating Urban’s ability to deliver transformative public infrastructure solutions.
Urban is excited to host an open house for clients, partners, and community stakeholders at its new King of Prussia office.
