SALT LAKE CITY – Wheatland Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, will preview its new Ultra Z-Coat
In-Line Color Fence Framework at FENCETECH 2025 (Booth 713), held February 26-28 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Ultra Z-Coat is Wheatland’s proprietary UV light-cured technology that has outperformed other steel products by providing ultimate steel protection from corrosion, scratches, and rust. The Ultra Z-Coat technology, which features an ultra-smooth, sleek, and professional aesthetic, will now be available in dark green, brown, and black for fence framework.
“Ultra Z-Coat features no solvents, VOCs, or air pollutants, making it the greenest way to build fence framework,” said John Eichenlaub, president of fence, solar, and mechanical for Wheatland Tube. “Our in-line color pipe is ready to touch, handle, and transport right out of the UV light chamber, offering customers the fastest lead times in the industry.”
Ultra Z-Coat is 100% domestically made in the company’s Kansas City, Mo., Blytheville, Ark., and Rochelle, Ill., factories.
Also new from Wheatland Tube is a comprehensive line of PVC fence products available in white, tan, clay, and gray, all 100% made in the USA.
Ultra Z-Coat and the new PVC fence products will be displayed alongside Wheatland Tube’s entire fence framework portfolio at FENCETECH 2025 Booth 713. The company will be showcasing in-line galvanized, hot-dip galvanized, and pre-galvanized products ranging from high security and industrial applications to light commercial, residential, and ornamental applications.
Wheatland’s fence framework contains recycled steel, which is the most recycled material in the world. The tube products manufactured by Wheatland Tube are produced from up to 85% recycled steel — which can help building owners and developers obtain LEED certification.
